Today let’s read The Toy’s Party.
今天我们来读《玩具派对》。
What can you see on the cover?
你看到封面上都有什么？
I can see Kipper, Kipper’s dog and his toys.
我看到Kipper, Kipper的狗狗还有他的玩具。
What are they doing?
他们在做什么？
It looks like that Kipper is having a celebration.
Kipper好像在庆祝什么。
Maybe Kipper is having a party. Let’s take a look!
Kipper正在开派对呢，我们一起去看看吧。
Look at the picture. Kipper sat behind a table.
看看这幅图，Kipper坐在桌子旁边。
Did he look happy?
你觉得Kipper开心吗？
No. Kipper looked very upset.
不，Kipper看起来不太开心。
Kipper wanted a party.
Kipper想要办一个派对。
He prepared a plate of candies, four cups, and two glasses.
他准备了一盘子的糖果，四个茶杯和两个玻璃杯。
Did anyone come to Kipper’s party?
有人来参加Kipper的派对吗？
No. Nobody wanted to come.
没有，没有人想要来他的派对。
Kipper thought about his family.
Kipper想起了他的家人。
Why didn’t Biff and Chip want to come?
为什么Biff和Chip没有来呢？
Look at the picture. They went out to play football.
看看图上，Biff和Chip去踢足球了。
What about Mum and Dad?
Kipper的爸爸妈妈在哪里呢？
They were busy cleaning the car.
他们正忙着清洗小汽车呢。
Even Floppy was sleeping in his kennel.
就连Floppy也在它的小窝里睡着了。
Look at this picture. Floppy just woke up. He looked shocked.
看看这幅图，Floppy醒了，它很吃惊。
Why was he shocked?

That’s because he saw Kipper going downstairs with his toys.
因为它看到Kipper带着他的玩具下楼来啦。
What toys were he holding？
他都拿了什么玩具呢？
He was holding a rabbit, two bears, a cat, a dog and a British soldier.
他拿了一只兔子玩偶，两只熊玩偶，一只小猫玩偶，一只小狗玩偶和一个英国士兵玩偶。
They are all his best friends.
这些都是他的好朋友。
Kipper got all the toys seated.
Kipper让他所有的玩具坐好。
What was his next plan?
他打算做什么呢？
He wanted to bake a cake.
Kipper想做一个蛋糕。
What kind of cake did he want to bake?
他想做一个什么样的蛋糕呢？
Well, he wanted a cake with chocolate and cream.
嗯，他想要做一个巧克力奶油蛋糕。
Kipper took out a big bowl and got started.
他拿出了一个大碗，开始做蛋糕。
First, Kipper put in cornflakes into the bowl.
首先，Kipper将玉米片倒入碗中。
Then, he put in tomato sauce.
然后，Kipper放入了番茄酱。
But, Kipper was too careless.
但是，Kipper太不小心了。
Lots cornflakes fell on the table.
许多玉米片撒在桌子上。
Even a cup and a glass fell on the ground.

Next, Kipper put in milk.
然后，Kipper将牛奶倒入碗中。
He put in jam.
他把果酱倒进去。
Look at the table and all the toys.

They were covered in cornflakes and tomato sauce.
它们都被玉米片和番茄酱弄脏了。
Oh look! The milk carton is knocked over and the milk spilled onto the floor.
看！牛奶盒倒了，牛奶流到了地上。
Then, Kipper put in lots of sugar.
接着，Kipper倒入许多的糖。
Kipper put in plenty of baked beans.
又往碗里倒入了许多烘豆。
The table was dirtier than before.
桌子比刚才更脏了。
How do you think that made the toys feel?
你觉得这些玩具会怎么想？
They might feel anxious and upset.
它们可能既焦虑又难过。
Mum came back home.
妈妈回来了。
Was she happy to see this?
她看到这些开心吗？
No. Mum was cross.
不开心，妈妈很生气。
She said, “What a mess!”
她说：“真是一片狼藉！”
The kitchen, the toys and Kipper were all dirty.
厨房，玩具和Kipper身上都弄得脏兮兮的。
What was Kipper doing?
Kipper在做什么呢？
He was feeding his teddy bear.
他正在喂泰迪熊吃东西。
What happened at last?
最后发生了什么？
All the toys were put into the washing machine.
所有玩具都被放到洗衣机里清洗。
Mum washed Kipper’s clothes and hung them outside.
妈妈把Kipper的衣服洗干净然后晾到外面了。
What about Kipper?
Kipper呢？
He was washing himself, and he was sorry.
Kipper正在洗白白呢，他感到很抱歉。

拓展练习（难度略大，适合4岁以上宝宝～）
黄豆妈说没想到，在这个大家庭当中，小朋友也会有感到孤单的时候呢！
你们家的小朋友有没有跟玩具一起过家家、开派对的经历呢？
或者爸爸妈妈小时候有没有过这样的体验，可以跟小朋友讲一讲呀～
特别提醒1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。
3. 如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
