“狗咬吕洞宾”是一句中文谚语，常用来形容一个人“缺乏识别能力，不分好歹（cannot tell good from bad）”，具有贬义。

吕洞宾是中国民间神话中“八仙（Eight Immortals）”之一。传说神兽“哮天犬（Howling Celestial Dog）”私自下凡作乱（descend to earth and attack human beings），吕洞宾奉命拿法宝去收降它（vanquish the evil spirit）。哮天犬被收入法宝后，吕洞宾担心它困于其中化成灰，心生慈悯，擅自放它出来（release the dog without authorization），结果反被哮天犬趁机咬了一口。后来，人们就用“狗咬吕洞宾，不识好人心”比喻一个人“以恶报善，不分好歹（repay kindness with vice）”。
